    Pinnacle's School Year break camps offer a fun & educational outlet for your budding scientists/naturalists (grades 1-6). Our camps allow kids to continue learning during the days off from school, while having fun, exploring, and designing projects with our dedicated teachers. With lots of time outdoors and hands-on experiments, your children will forget that they're learning. During Winter Break, campers will help us celebrate the Winter Solstice and the promise of more light and warmth in the coming days. They will have plenty of opportunities to play both indoors and outdoors. Students will learn some basic Winter Survival Skills, including fire making, insulation, and shelter making.

    The intro to outdoor rock climbing trip is designed for first time climbers and for those who would like to transition from indoor gym climbing to the great outdoors. We believe everyone can enjoy rock climbing and our objectives are to help beginners learn the basics and pursue this fantastic sport. We take a short hike to a natural cliff face, discuss climbing safety and knots, and begin climbing and belaying. You will have plenty of opportunity to climb and practice belaying as we top-rope climb on at least 5-6 routes with unique rock types and features. Participants will learn the fundamental skills necessary to pass a belay test in an indoor climbing gym.
