Thanksgiving Camp Nov 24-26th (3 days)
99%
by Pinnacle Explorations Outdoor School
Seattle, WA
The theme for Thanksgiving Break is "Gardening, Gathering, and Gratitude." With the cold setting in, campers will harvest our final crops before we winterize the garden and cook with what we've collected. Campers can look forward to cutting kale, digging for potatoes, and Apple Tree Pinata. Any leftovers will go into mini-composting worm bins that campers will make and take home. We'll explore the Arboretum and Mud Park to see how animals are preparing for the winter, before we hunker down with what we've foraged to make centerpieces for the holiday. Time permitting, a nice Fall day wouldn't be complete without hot apple cider and s'mores around a campfire. Additionally with games like Peter Rabbit, Pig Pen, Turkey Hunt, and Fire in the Forest, campers will have a lot to be thankful for this season! Pinnacle's break camp offers a fun & educational outlet for your budding scientists/naturalists (Grades 1-6). Our camps allow kids to continue learning during the days off from school, while having fun, exploring, and designing projects with our dedicated teachers.
