I taught for almost 20 years in grades K-2, as well as spending a year as a reading interventionist. Prior to teaching my own classroom, I worked as a educational assistant in special education and was a CPA. I have experience with a diverse population and have always had excellent rapport with children and their families.

I have over a decade of childcare experience, with the most in children and teenagers with developmental and physical disabilities as head counselor at weeklong overnight camps for eight summers. I love hanging out with kids of all ages and cooking meals, helping with homework, running errands, or folding laundry! Because of my current work schedule, I will mostly be around for evenings and weekends but don't mind carting around to practices, games, extracurriculars. I just might be the perfect weekly datenight sitter for you and your family!

Hello! We need a nanny this week, until we find a long term nanny. My child is getting sick constantly form his daycare, and I can't take him again this week. He is also struggling with separation anxiety more lately, so someone who has experience with that, and who would be able to support him with learning activities appropriate for his age would be required. Early childhood education training will be important. This is short notice so we can pay higher than usual. I'm available today and this evening to chat on the phone. I will need help with preparing his lunches, and maybe also washing dishes. I hope to hear from someone would be able to help. I work from home in a separate room. I will be available if you need help. There is a playroom that's open to the living room and kitchen for him to play. Also an outdoor area. Thanks so much.

Family located in Albuquerque, NM (87123) is seeking a part-time nanny for their 11-year-old special needs daughter. The family has a 13-year-old daughter that will be at school most of the time. Parents tell PCN, " Our ideal nanny is someone who will give full attention to our daughter, ensuring her safety as she is a fall risk. Also, someone to assist with activities of daily living, encouraging her to clean up after herself. She enjoys playing, swimming, and loves to talk but has delayed speech, which can be difficult to understand. She needs help with understanding space and boundaries, so providing boundaries in a caring manner is appreciated. Our daughter potty trained, and can feed herself. She is developmentally at the age of a 3 or 4-year-old." Their daughter has been diagnosed with Global Delay Development and controlled seizures. She is on medication and has not had an episode since 2018. The family has two small dogs in the home, and a housekeeper that comes once a week. Both parents work out of the house.
