International Educator In Math And Writing. TESOL Certified
I first started tutoring peers in the Student Success Center in college. It was there that I realized that I have a knack working one-on-one with people in explaining certain subjects I have mastered. After college, I went on to tutor 7th grade math for one year in San Antonio. Since 2011, I have sporadically tutored English for adult language learners in Missouri. I just returned to the St. Louis area from having spent two years in Rwanda teaching English and Professional Development at a high school. I enjoy instructing and facilitating classrooms, but I really love tutoring/mentoring in small groups or one-on-one. When I get to tutor a student one-on-one, I can keep track of his/her strengths, how he/she is keeping up with the material, and what methods of teaching work best with the student.

Part-time Caregiver Available
I am a current student at Saint Louis University pursuing a degree in physical therapy. I will graduate with a Bachelor of Science (B. S.) in Exercise Science in May of 2019 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in May of 2021. I have worked as a therapy aide at SSM DePaul Hospital for 2. 5 years and have hands-on experience caring for patients. I have up-to-date certifications in both CPR and Basic Life Support. I have also completed courses in my physical therapy program involving transfers and providing assistance for activities of daily living. I love working with seniors -- I have helped care for my grandpa after his stroke and my grandma after she broke her clavicle and wrist. I plan to pursue a career in geriatric physical therapy upon graduation.
