I have worked with children of all ages, needs, and abilities since 1999. I am a certified special education teacher in addition to being an elementary school social worker. My experiences include cognitive disabilities, mental health diagnosis, and physical disabilities. I am comfortable using mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and standers. I have experience with g-tube feedings and other forms of medical equipment. My goal is to make all children feel valued, loved, and important. I also recognize the toll constant caretaking takes on families and relationships.
