I love being around kids. I have babysat since I was was in middle school and all through high school. I currently work as a support teacher for the Primrose School. I am hoping to switch over to more of a nanny position. I love how naturally curious kids are and their openness to learning as much as possible. I am CPR/First Aid certified.

I've always loved working with kids! Growing up, I volunteered in my church's nursery and babysat for family friends. In college I spent 1 summer working as a camp counselor for kids in grades 2-12, and volunteered in church youth programming throughout the school year. After graduating college, I spent my first year out of school working at an after school program for kids in k-6th grade, as well as running youth camps in the summer. During that time I was also a part-time nanny to two sweet boys, aged 1 and 3. I continue to work with kids as a nursery volunteer for my church, and work with teens and elementary aged students as a volunteer in the after school program that I previously worked with.

As dual-career parents, we are in need of a responsible, experienced personal assistant to provide personalized help with managing home activities. A qualified assistant will be expected to exceed expectations in running personal errands, doing odd-jobs at/for our home (not cleaning activities as we have a house cleaner), organizing, and doing online research on activities for the family. We would like to have someone for 4 hours every other week, but could have some flexibility for the right candidate. Flexible to MWRF weekdays. Some activities would be the same each time, but many would be ad hoc. Example of ad hoc items: go through kids clothes to remove too small sizes / replace with hand-me-downs / tell us what type of clothes we need to buy, buy/pick-up pet meds, making returns, scheduling window cleaners, or help with food prep.

A Furry Godmother walks the dog(s) for a set time the client chooses, as we offer 20, 30 and 40 minute visits. Sometimes, we give medications during visits, ranging from insulin shots or mixing medicine in yogurt for example. Cat visits require thorough cleaning of litter boxes, feeding and providing fresh water. Clients give detailed instructions as to the pets needs in the software we use. During the visit, you take a few pictures and provide positive and descriptive feedback that gets emailed to the client through the software. Experience is a plus, but not necessary! We will provide training! Our Furry Godmothers must be reliable, positive, flexible, team players and NOT allergic to cats!
