Father is a fisherman and leaves early am (4-5am) and gets home mid to late afternoon. There is an extra room to come sleep if desired. Child is in school so time off is available after school drop off. Need help to pick him up after school and maybe prepare a meal or bring him down to boat when dad gets in. He is an active 5-year-old and we try to do lots of outside activities. As of now its an every other week schedule.

My dad is bedridden, living in his own home. He is under in-home hospice care. Hospice care does not include FT caregiving. I provide most of that. I need someone to come in a few daytimes a week for a full 8 hour shift. Actual dates and times, we can coordinate. Very flexible. Dad sleeps most of the time, but should not be left alone. I need someone to work part time, as needed, to fill in for me when I must be away. Typical day would be to make coffee, warm up and serve meals (all in bed), change TV channel, empty "pee can" as needed. Possibly help clean up BM, but that'd be pretty rare - dad does not eat much. Dad takes no meds, needs little to no physical help. Good opportunity for someone who likes a lot of downtime - online students, book lovers, knitters. It is quiet and easy and boring.

About who needs care: Bedridden. Hospice. Eats/drinks very little. Very easy to care for. If condition becomes more complex, pay will reflect it. Easy live-in for a quiet person like a online student or book lover who wants a private bedroom and bathroom in a remote location. $1500 month, free room/board/wi-fi/cable About the care needs: As dad is bedridden should be able to help him roll over in bed to change bedding. Tho dad still does most of the work. A quiet person who can hopefully do better than a microwaved meal - both for dad and themselves. Meals included, but you'd be free to do your own thing. 2 consecutive days of your choice off per week. I (son) cover the days you are not and will handle errands/shopping - all negotiable Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
