Colorado - Home Care

Some seniors are comfortable living in their own home and wish to remain there for as long as possible. They are not ready for a senior care facility, but still need some assistance to live alone successfully. For families in this situation, Home Care is often the best option.

There are two type of home care available to seniors - skilled medical home care and non-medical home care. Skilled medical care is provided by visiting nurses who come to a senior's home to attend to necessary medical tasks like wound care or pain relief. Non-medical home care is performed by home care aids who perform assistive tasks including assistance with dressing or bathing, food shopping, light cleaning, or just general companionship. Both services serve very different needs, so make sure you know what your senior needs help with.
