How can I find nightly cleaning or personal assistant jobs in my area to provide extra income for myself and toddler?
Please feel free to message me with any and all helpful tips or suggestions. I have a full time M-F job but need more income for overwhelming bills and the ability to pull ahead!
Hi Danielle, that will be challenging since you want cleaning job at night. There are few industries you can look into: 1. Gas Stations or convenient store (7-Eleven, Mobil, Sunoco) since they are operating 24/7. 2. Warehouse. Since they ship their goods in the morning, they need someone who can load trailers at night. I work at UPS and they have early morning shift (preload = incoming packages) and evening shift (local sort = out-going packages). For your situation, Local Sort (evening hours) will fit your needs. You can also check with FedEx (whichever is closest to you). 3. You can also look into Grocery store jobs. They need someone who can stock the shelves or run the cash register. 4. You can also look into care.com for nanny, babysitting, or tutoring jobs. I hope I gave you some insights to find 2nd job for extra money you need.
I would first start by finding a flexible client that doesn't have a problem with evening hours . I would also make time in your profile to put your availability so that when your name pops up in the search they can see the hours you provide.
Word of mouth is a good way. Let others know that you are available. I use care.com a lot and craigslist. I've also used grocery store bulletin boards as a way to connect with busy individuals who may need the service you provide. Hope this helps.
I would check Care.com website and specify companies offering jobs as usually a commercial cleaning company has that kind of contract. Ask your doctors and dentist. I did that once and got a great contract for about 3 yrs. for a radiology office. Or go from office building to office building and ask if you can do a bid when they're current contract expires. Then lastly I would contact commercial cleaning companies directly.
offer extra services to current cleaning customers
Advertise. There are so many websites that you can use. Just be careful and alert.
Look for jobs that are in your time frame
create a profile on care.com and start applying for positions you are able to work. Also try local websites like nextdoor.com and post the services you provide. Social Media is a great way to advertise. Create business cards and place them in companies near your area.
add to your description youor only available for night work and the hours your looking for .
I would list it in your bio.and when the interview is arranged go over the hours you are available.
keep applying, be persistent. Talk in grocery lines, family members that can talk at work. Give EVERYONE business cards.
Care. Com, and do the cleaning at the time you can work
Interested in fulltime job
Hi Valerie, You can visit glassdoor.com or indeed.com to find "Full-Time" jobs. All you have to do is sign-up with glassdoor or indeed to get the notifications and to see if the company is in your area. You can also find "Work from Home" jobs that are full time as well. Or, you can start your own business.
You just have to keep looking on Care.com or do offices at night and bring your toddler with you.
Care. com- want ads in papers.
You can quickly find office cleaning jobs in the evenings via a commercial service. You can also find remote pt PA jobs online. I have a couple of clients who use remote PA's who work flexible hours. There are also work at home jobs via reputable companies.

What you need to do now is to reduce your expenses. Reflect on what you really need to live. Empty the house of things that no longer suit you and things you do not like. Prioritize time with your child. This time is precious and will not return.
Search on a regular basis on Care.com!
Keep a look out for someone who needs evening cleans on Care.com. My first client ever actually still has me come from 7:30-9:30PM on Thursday evenings. They aren't as easy to find as morning or afternoon jobs but they're out there.
Well best thing to do is to put in the time that your available to work in your profile area so they can see your availability.
I believe that nightly cleaning positions can be found working in offices, schools, hotels and hospitals.
I all ways use www.Google.com or any job search engine to find these types of jobs on-line
Make flyers post in grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, flower shops, day cares, laundry mats, library and etc.
craigslist or indeed is a great start, but beware of scams. Putting out ads is also great on those websites
advertise for weekend cleaning and babysitting job.
Well, I can do this, on the clock with my employer. but its your choice through different agencies.
Try working cleaning offices.
I am sorry. I need to get a job for myself. Dear Care Team! I am sorry. I have to go. Have a good day!
What about delivering food for Uber? Your toddler can be strapped in with you. My friend makes good money doing it.
taskrabbit is an app I used for this very purpose for a long time and I made great money.
Can't help you there I'm in the same boat and often wonder why myself. I work a full-time job and want to pick up evening jobs or weekend jobs and they all seem to be taken or won't get back to me. Just keep applying and keep the faith that something will come along for you. Good luck
