Is using hot water and vinegar enough to disinfect a kitchen floor?
I'm trying to avoid using chemicals in my house when I am cleaning. Does vinegar and hot water really do a good enough job?
yes, but add just a touch of dawn and make sure it is white wine distilled vinegar :)
It's a great way to clean your average kitchen floor dirt.
it depends how bad the floor is
Yes. Vinegar is a great product to desinfect everything and the smell don't stay for to long.
Hello, I use Vinegar and water on everything in the kitchen. I don't use harsh products either. You should try Branch Basic on branchbasis.com
Yes, it does :)
Vinegar is a FANTASTIC cleaning agent!
If the water itself is hot enough, it alone will do a good job. If you want a little boost, baking soda also works as a mild disinfectant, although combining it with vinegar neutralizes both the acid and the vinegar. However, vinegar can be used very effectively to remove mold spores from berries, which is what makes them go bad so quickly, so I would expect that it would do a decent job of disinfecting your floors as well, yes.
Yes, vinegar kills bacteria and the house always smells fresh after using vinegar and hot water to clean. Also, I like using vinegar to wipe the fridge after I wash it because it kills the bad scent.
add some baking soda an some juice from a lemon - maybe a squirt of dishwashing liquid !
No not in my opinion.
If you want to clean and disinfect add a little bleach
