I have had a lot of practice with ABA and working with children with ASD. During my practicum at school, I worked 1:1 with a 11-year-old boy with Autism and developed an intervention that taught communication skills across generalized settings. I have currently been working on with a young boy at a schools developing a reading intervention to help with his reading disability. Another project I am working on is doing research with a program called Girls Night Out (GNO), I am helping with 6 teenage girls with ASD in the program by collecting data, and helping with the intervention process. Throughout my experience I have gained a passion to help children with ASD. Last summer, I did over 30 hours of job shadowing with an Occupational Therapist. I will receive a Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavioral Science after finishing up classes this summer.
