I have a huge passion for working with those with special needs. I am about to apply to graduate school for Applied Behavior Analysis and have been a camp counselor at a camp for kids with special needs as well as an intern in multiple special ed classrooms. I feel that individuals with special needs bring so much light and joy to the world and we can learn so much from them, just as they can learn from us. I was a camp counselor at Camp SOAR in Lake Geneva for five years. I then was an intern in a resource room at innocademy in Zeeland and am currently finishing up an internship in a preschool classroom for kids with ASD at Ottawa Area Center. In high school I was a teacher's aid in many special ed classrooms and even started a dance group for the special ed students, in which I was the lead teacher.
