I have worked with Special Education children for 17 years with the Chicago Board Of Education as a Special Education Classroom Assistant until recently. I was laid off. I enjoy working with all children, but working with special needs kids is much more rewarding to me, to see them accomplish a task such as reading and work a math problem that had been challenging for them. I enjoy seeing these kids learn new things. I also have CPR training and a certificate to work as a Caregiver.
