About Terri

I have a dual Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland in Healthcare administration and Communication as well as an Associates in Early Childhood Education from Montgomery college and have 15 years experience teaching children. I have worked with many different families to create an enriching environment in my family day care home for their child's optimal development. I developed an after-school arts enrichment program offering art and drama classes after school for elementary students in grades k-5. I also coached youth basketball for 16 years. I have extensive knowledge of early childhood/school age development and continue to educate myself through college courses, county workshops, and seminars. I am caring, patient and creative. I love being outside hiking and cycling. I have 3 grown children and 3 pets. Currently, I manage an MCPS health room PT. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and a licensed CNA and CMT and a have criminal background clearance.

Terri provided enriching care for my three children for two consecutive summers. She is creative and caring. She took them on all kinds of adventures from hikes to museums. She did art projects, summer tutoring, swim lessons, reading and much more. She watched our dog when we were out of town and always tidied up the house even though it was not in job description. She modeled respect and compassion and my kids adored her. We still keep in touch even though we have moved out of state. You would be lucky to have her be a part of your family!
