About Young Mi

I am a very experienced nanny who cares for children and nurtures them into kindhearted, intelligent people. Since studying early childhood education, I've gained many years of professional experience and expanded my knowledge on childhood development. As a preschool/academic teacher, I taught math, language, and music. As a nanny, I educated infants through school-aged children on the five senses through educational toys and activities. I developed their fine & gross motor skills and focused on 5 domains of self-development: perception, observation, thinking, judgment, and spatial perception. I also focused on reading, arts & crafts, and music, as I play both piano and guitar. Through arts & crafts, I developed the children's critical thinking as they used their imagination to create works of art. Through music, I developed their emotional & self-expression. I have certificates in CPR/first aid, infant safety, daycare, and Child Development and Planning Curriculum for Child Care.
