About Gabriela

Hi! My name is Gabriela, I am 24 years old and live in the Washington, D. C. area. I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 6 years and have had my CDA for 3 years. I currently work as an Assistant Teacher in an infant classroom, but also have experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children. I am also the Spanish Enrichment Teacher at my center, where I introduce infants and toddlers to Spanish through music, sensory activities, movement, and books :) I am CPR/First Aid certified and experienced with babies as young as 6 weeks old. I am experienced with sleep training, bottle feeding, and nap routines, and I enjoy outdoor play, arts & crafts, music, story time, and sensory activities. I will be attending UDC in the fall to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have reliable transportation and am very comfortable with pets, as I have 2 cats and grew up with dogs :)
