I was a "peer tutor" in high school. That means for an hour a day (I choose to do it for 2.5 hours a day in my junior year and 4 hours a day in my senior year), I would help and assist with other students that had mental and/or physical handicaps. During high school, two of my very good friends were in an accident that caused them to lose both of their legs. It has always been an extreme passion of mine to work with kids and be able to make their day more enjoyable and easier. I have worked with kids for the last 5 or so years.
