My passion for working with special needs began in high school when I was a special education student teacher for 2 years at Grimsley High. After that I worked for another childcare company that paired me with families who were specifically looking for special needs caregivers. During those years of care giving I would spend most of the days preparing for bed and helping them with any homework or games they may need to complete. Beginning in 2015 I began teaching swim lessons for special needs students at a local pool. I am lucky to have a special needs family member which has also encouraged me to understand every type of individual and the minor or severe disability they may have.
