About Sarah

I am looking for a nanny position this summer following my graduation in May. I will be in the RI area through late August. I am a senior at Syracuse University studying Inclusive Early Childhood and Special Education. I knew that I wanted to be a special education teacher at a very young age. I grew up alongside my older brother who has Down syndrome. I have made it a mission to work for organizations that promote inclusion for children and adults with disabilities. I have over five years of experience working in a professional setting with children with disabilities, and three years working with young adults with disabilities. I started babysitting when I was 14 years-old. Ever since then, I have been babysitting and tutoring part-time for families. Every child is unique in their skills and approaches. I love working with children and discovering their special talents!
