About Alexia

Hello! My name is Alexia and I am 27 years old. I have a Bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and a Master's degree in special education. I have worked as a special education inclusion teacher as well as a primary self-contained classroom teacher. I have also worked in regular education in PreK, 1st and 2nd grade. This past school year I was a grade 2 ESL Integrated classroom teacher and earned my certification in Teaching English Learners. I have experience working in after-school programs, summer camps, daycare, and early learning centers. I am flexible, hard-working, and enthusiastic. Working with children is my passion. In my opinion, a caregiver is someone who is willing to sing, dance, and roll on the floor just to get a smile on a child's face.
