Hello! My name is Makenna, I'm 21 years old and before moving to San Antonio I worked as a caregiver for 2 young men who have cerebral palsy and helped part time with a 10-year-old with down syndrome and a 2-year-old boy who has developmental delays. I absolutely love being a caregiver and I am looking to find some great families in this new city that I can work for! My love for working with children who have special needs (and just children in general) stems from camp! I have worked in multiple states across the country at camps specifically for children who have special needs and it became a huge passion of mine very quickly. I am very comfortable with lifts/transfers, behavioral disorders, and personal hygiene matters.
