About Makayla

Hi, my name is Makayla! I'm a 24-year-old college student at UTSA and am currently seeking babysitting opportunities during the summer. Currently, I work as a site leader for Learning Tree, in an elementary school serving about 70 kids from ages 3-11. I've been working with kids for a little over 2 years, where I've been responsible for their care and safety, maintaining open communication with parents, and providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children to thrive. I love to read, do arts and crafts, play board games, and engage in conversations with my kids at the school. I truly enjoy getting to know their personalities and form relationships with them. I'm comfortable with pets, doing housework and errands, able to drive and own a car. I'm also CPR and first-aid certified, as well as have taken several classroom management and child behavior trainings through the school district.
