About Makayla

Hello! I am a teacher looking for summer tutoring work to amplify your child's learning during the months off of school. I am hard working, honest, engaged, and willing to help. I have a Master's in Education from PSU and am finishing up my second year as a substitute teacher in Portland, looking for permanent work this Fall. I am most skilled in teaching reading/writing skills, and elementary math. I'd describe my personality as friendly, bubbly, and energetic. I'm looking for a job that fulfills my interests and compliments my financial needs appropriately. In my spare time, I like to read, go on walks, and spend time with friends.
