I am here to offer my services as an experienced and certified K-8 Teacher. I have been a certified teacher and reading specialist in Washington State for over 10 years. I am also beginning online coursework to become a licensed school counselor. I have many years of successful experience helping students achieve their academic targets and I am skilled at addressing emotional problems that may arise. This allows me to help students work through emotional difficulties or at least find successful strategies for coping so they may continue focusing on their coursework. I am a certified yoga teacher as well and I know students will benefit from movement breaks. I would be happy to incorporate these into a daily schedule so students can let out their energy in positive, safe, and healthy ways. I am currently open to part-time or full-time opportunities depending upon parent interest.
