About Kristin

Hello! My name is Kristin. I am a 23-year-old psychology graduate student at the University of Clear Lake - Pearland. My experience with senior care is very personal, and extensive. In that, I helped care for (along with my parents and two younger siblings) my grandmother (who passed away this January 2023) who had and struggled heavily with dementia. I helped bathe her at times, clean up after her when she had accidents, clothe her, feed her, pick up her medications and administer them, and provide her with company when I wasn't at school or work. Throughout those experiences and watching all that my grandmother went through in her diagnoses, I gained a deeper amount of empathy for the elderly and a determination to make sure they feel loved and taken care of in their time of need. Wether that be providing company, cooking meals, running errands, or helping with medication taking. I know that I have the heart for this job.
