About Kayla

I am a certified teacher with a Masters degree and 12 years teaching and tutoring experience. As a former teacher, I enjoy tailoring lessons to meet each student's needs and providing multi-sensory opportunities to understand concepts on a deep level. I seek to develop a strong relationship with each student to help ease anxiety and allow the student's abilities to shine. I am flexible and adjust lessons as needed so that the learner's needs are being met. I am trained in: International Multisensory Math Wired for Reading Handwriting Without Tears Singapore Math I offer virtual and in-person sessions. For best results, students need to commit to at least two, 50-minute sessions a week per subject. Handwriting lessons can be added.
