About Julia

Hi! I'm 28 and enjoy working with children. I've been described as patient, energetic, and fun. I want a job where I can care for others and make a personal impact, and I'm comfortable working with people with disabilities. I'm interested in nannying, tutoring, and elder care. My most relevant experience working with children was as Art Program Manager at Talisman Programs, a social development camp for children with autism and/or ADHD. I was hired for strong role modeling and creating an art program focused on self-love, kindness, and creativity. I earned my BS in Social Sciences with minors in Mathematics and Psychology from Florida State University, a liberal arts school. I'm comfortable tutoring various subjects, and I'm experienced with a wide range of student needs. I also have experience with elder care. I cared for my grandmother as her health declined from a neurodegenerative disease, managing medications, therapy, and personal care as she lost mobility.
