About Jena

I have 20 years of early childcare experience. I worked as a nanny, an infant teacher, preschool teacher, mentor teacher, and director. Currently I am employed part-time as a Parent Educator for South Seattle College Cooperative Preschools. I am a trained facilitator of the "Positive Discipline" parenting program. I love play-based learning, open-ended art, being outside in nature, and focus on social and emotional development. "My current availability and desire is for temporary, occasional, or short-term work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and potentially evenings or weekends. I am also interested in overnight newborn sleep care, senior companion care, personal assistant, or household management jobs."
