Offering caregiving means learning to be there for a family member in a significant way. Being a mature women with a psychology background, aids my work with others. I'm currently attending Naropa to obtain a Masters in counseling. Being actively engaged with the community and connecting with others in a meaningful way drives my passion. Using skills that take consideration and care, rather than just intellec,t is a holistic approach that shades all interactions I have with others. Available; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, offering three out of the four day options. My previous experience and education with disabled children and adults came through opportunities rather than workplaces. My goals are to work with youth struggling with dis-regulation of cognitive function and/or learning issues; Autism, PTSD and ADHD, which largely surround hemispheric connection. As well as adults with brain trauma (TBI), those who relate to the world differently. Most elderly populations present with diabetes and this is also an area for compassion and nutritional assistance of which I have background.
