I'm an encouraging and resourceful university student aspiring to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. Over the past 8 years, I have volunteered and worked in various disability ministries including a summer camp for individuals with special needs, a middle/high school relational respite program, an independent living focused college program for adults with disabilities, and a church's Sunday School inclusion program. My passion is just to be a really good friend to individuals with disabilities, and inspire others around me to do the same. I challenge my friends with disabilities to push boundaries and excel beyond what they thought they were once capable of. By setting the tone of honest friendship with strict and healthy boundaries, my friends with disabilities listen to and respect my voice. I also have lots of experience with both medical and behavioral challenges and about a year of experience in ABA therapy to rely on. Willing to do other chores.
