Hi there! My name is Carly and I'm excited to be your (potential) new babysitter! I've worked children of all ages and backgrounds since I was 13 years old. I've cared for newborns all the way up to preteens! I was a babysitter for one family for 6 years (middle school and high school) and a nanny for two years (college). In 2016, I traveled to Thailand to teach English to kindergartens for 1 year. It was a wonderful way to see the world, gain new perspectives, and experience a country in a way a tourist cannot. I was also a summer camp counselor for 2 years in college, working with children between the ages of 5-13. I really enjoy being creative, active, and silly with the children I'm caring for! I can also cook meals and clean up the house. I currently work from home as a project manager for an international consulting firm. My schedule is flexible and I'm looking to fill my afternoons/nights and weekends with babysitting.

Carly was wonderful during our discussions of the job she applied for. We struggled to find a mutually agreeable time to talk over the phone. Carly wasn't comfortable with the salary posted in the job, and despite a little negotiation in her favor, ghosted on us (wasn't returning messages, promised contact and didn't contact). I just wish we could have gotten a simple "thanks, but I changed my mind", instead of hoping for a message that never came. We decided to go with a childcare center. All that aside, we were very excited after messaging with her, we thought she was a great fit.
