It is very important to me that every child in my life feels important. To let children know that they are valued, I follow some protocols: I make eye contact when kids talk to me. I take interest in their interests. I get excited to hear their stories, and I am always happy to read stories back to them, or make them up as I go along. My phone stays in earshot in case parents call me, but I don't pick it up for unnecessary reasons when I am spending time with children. I treat kids with value and respect. They deserve it! I am a very safe driver and I'm happy to drive to playdates or other events. I am CPR certified, and I am also an experienced tutor. Through college I alternated summers as a live-in nanny and a summer camp counsellor. In high school, I was an after-school care tutor and caretaker for grades K-8. In my free time, I spend lots of fun evenings and weekend with my nieces and nephews. We love to bake, play music, and we do lots of arts and crafts and story times.
