About Dahlia

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, driven, and nurturing. I love working with kids because they see the world with wonder and always make me laugh. I started working with children at a young age through nannying, tutoring, and teaching ballet. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from CIU and spent five years as a certified K-5 teacher at RES in Transylvania County, teaching 2nd grade and providing reading and math interventions. Now, I'm a mom-to-be working flexible jobs as I prepare to stay home with my little one in March. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, rock climbing, concerts, and exploring local breweries and coffee shops with my dog. I'm married, and one thing to know about me is that I strive to make everyone around me feel valued and loved.
