Part-time Senior Care Provider
My primary experience in providing senior care was from having the privilege of taking care of my grandmother from 1982-2005. In addition, I was formerly employed by the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Cleveland, Ohio for nearly 20 years during which time I assisted with the personal care of special needs adults as well as children in the form of providing weekend respite care to parents as well as adult children of senior aged consumers. Taking personal care of my grandmother was truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and now that I am not working in the world of "business" full time, I would like to give back and acquire a position where I am able to perform duties that will allow me to care for others, particularly seniors in order to provide some companionship and assistance to them as they age and may not have family members or friends that tend to them on a regular basis. More importantly, to relieve the feeling of loneliness and despair.
