About who needs care: My father recently had pacemaker surgery. His heart is now in good shape. But he is struggling to recover physically from the strain of the surgery. He is mostly content to watch TV and use his iPad. He has many medications to take. He is content with basic meals. He may have mobility problems and need to use a walker. About the care needs: My father's life basically revolves around local sports: Royals, Chiefs, KU basketball and football, and NASCAR. He needs someone with a fairly cheerful demeanor who will listen to him. Sometimes he slurs his words. He likes to be in charge. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
