About the job
I was injured over 20 years ago, at the age of 29, and suffered a C-5/6/7 spinal cord break. I have no/too little voluntary movement in legs and when my leg spasms are up something needs to addressed (clothing, AFO's, stockings, shoes, etc.). I am in need of daily care of bowel and bladder management, skin checks, dressing, stretching, showering, there is lifting but once my pants are on I can do most transfers, and some housekeeping and food prep. Once I am in my chair, I am pretty self-sufficient. I can train you on how I like things (I can be pretty picky because of feeling below injury level) and you will be paid $14 an hour. I have about 3 to 3 1/2 hours a day, You will need to register with an agency to have background checks and be on payroll.
