I hold both a BBA degree in Economics (from the University of Georgia) and a MA degree in Economics (Georgia State University). As a graduate student at Georgia State, I worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for both Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. I was responsible for leading and working with small groups of students who were taking their introductory micro and macro economics courses. I've also provided one to one economics tutoring to students and peers who needed additional help. I have also previously worked at three different tutoring centers while I was attending college. I worked with two K Learning Center branches as well as and an organization that specializes in math. I tutored kids in both Math and Reading in a one to one setting and in group setting.

Economics Tutor For Undergraduates
I am currently a Graduate student (PhD) at Auburn University, Alabama. I intend to carry out my research on Energy Economics and Climate Change. I would be glad to help students in the domain of Microeconomics, intermediate or graduate level. Prior to my PhD, I was working in Ernst and Young in the Climate Change and Sustainability Department. Hence, I bring along with me a mix of academic and corporate understanding of the subject, which I believe might be useful for the students

SBCC Economics Student
I have tutored many students (volunteer work) primarily in math subjects. I have helped my roommate with her math homework (mostly algebra and pre-calculus). I have taken college level Calculus and will continue with upper level math courses at SBCC. I am also an excellent essay editor. Many of my friends and classmates ask me to edit their papers because I always return it with a bunch of red marks on their essay! I am very confident in teaching beginning and intermediate level math (typically middle to high school) but am still learning upper level like Calculus but currently understand the material quite well. I have also studied French for five years and although I am not fluent because I do not have many opportunities to practice here in Santa Barbara, I am fairly skilled at conjugating regular and irregular verbs, memorizing vocabulary words, and constructing sentences. I love tutoring children who are struggling because usually, once I show them how smart they truly are, they become very excited and excel in that subject. I have learned that many times students believe they are doing poorly in a certain subject, so they end up feeling defeated. I can help with this.
