About Jiapeng

I recently graduated from New York University with a degree in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. Through my education, I developed strong skills in algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, econometrics, and both macroeconomics and microeconomics. As someone who recently completed college-level math and economics courses, I understand the challenges students face when learning new material. My goal is to help students truly understand concepts and improve their problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing formulas. I have experience helping classmates and friends with math and academic work, and I am comfortable teaching elementary math, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, SAT Math, and introductory statistics or economics. Before each class, I review the student's materials and prepare lessons based on their individual needs. I am available for online and in-person tutoring in the Johns Creek and Alpharetta area this summer, and I also offer a free introductory trial session.
