About Isaiah

There's a moment in almost every session where something clicks, and being the person who helps get a student there never gets old. My experience goes back to high school, teaching swim lessons as a lifeguard and running sessions at my school's math center, and I've been building on that ever since through informal tutoring and grading university coursework. I'm a Math and Economics double major with real research experience applying the methods I tutor, so I bring both the technical depth and the patience to meet students wherever they are. Outside of academics I'm a huge sports fan from outside Chicago and I genuinely enjoy working through quantitative problems just for fun. My top skills are breaking down complex concepts, adapting to how each student learns, and staying patient until it actually clicks. The best sessions happen when a student feels comfortable enough to say they don't understand something, and creating that environment is always my first priority.
