About Kayla

I have experience in giving flute and piccolo lessons to a variety of ages. I've mostly given lessons to kids in middle and high school. I have played flute for 10+ years and I have played piccolo for 6 years. In high school I was involved in band, jazz band, and marching band and I have been to many workshops and honor bands. I received a music scholarship at St. Ben's and was in the Wind Ensemble for all 4 years of undergrad. I have also tutored middle and high school students in math, social studies, and science. Throughout college I was a biology laboratory TA and tutored college students in biology. I am currently in medical school as well. I have always loved tutoring and giving flute and piccolo lessons. I'm very passionate about both music and school so I find it fun to get to teach others about the things that I enjoy doing and learning about.
