About Barbara

My name is Barbara, and I am currently a PhD student at the University . I offer tutoring and academic support for students of all ages, including kindergarten, elementary and middle school, as well as high school students seeking guidance for academic and research pathways. For younger students, I focus on building strong foundations with age-appropriate activities that support reading, basic math, and overall learning confidence. For middle school students, I provide structured support with homework, study habits, and core subjects, with a strong emphasis on science and biology. I speak Portuguese, English, and some Spanish, and I am comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds or providing additional language support when needed. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts, build independence, and develop effective study habits. I adapt my teaching style to each student's pace and learning style.
