The Top 10 Parenting Blogs in Atlanta

Parenting isn’t easy. That’s an understatement. When you’re in need of some support, education, or just a good laugh, turn to one of Atlanta’s excellent mom blogs (or dad blogs!) to help get you through.

We compiled this guide of our top 10 favorite family Atlanta bloggers who dish up everything you need to know to navigate parenthood in Atlanta. With such a large city, it’s often hard to be “in the know” about local events and deals. These bloggers will have you and your family enjoying the local scene. (If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll even find a babysitter or nanny so you can enjoy a grownup night on the town!)

Having sacrificed my full-time job and salary for a part-time gig and sanity, I feel the crunch each month of embracing a more frugal life. Cutting out the excess has been a tough exercise in willpower but an amazing game-changer for our family. “Have fun. Be Cheap” is the motto over at Atlanta on the Cheap, and this author is the Queen Bee at keeping her family busy without breaking the bank. With multiple postings each week, you are sure to find some inexpensive events or activity ideas that will work for your family.

We all know motherhood is difficult, so enter this judge-free zone knowing you are welcomed with open arms.

I love that the Atlanta Area Moms Blog features a “neighborhood” Facebook group for neighborhoods as far south as Peachtree City and extending north up through Alpharetta. Pregnancy brain does wonders on my my memory, so I’m especially grateful for the ease of having pop-up reminders on Facebook. With my current addiction to social media, this handy group keeps me in the loop of neighborhood events without having to deviate from my daily scroll through the world of Facebook.

Celiac Mama, by Jereann Zann

Almond butter and jelly "sushi" rolls are a fun spin on the traditional sandwich! I paired them with strawberries, blueberries, pomegranate cashews and carrots for a simple, healthy lunch box idea that my kids loved ❤️. The roll is made up of @barneybutter Smooth bc it's amazing and blackberry jam. . . . #glutenfree #dairyfree #celiacsafe #vegan #barneybutter #lunchbox

Named as an Official Blogger for the 2017 Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo in Atlanta, Celiac Mama updates weekly to bring you delicious gluten-, dairy-, and egg-free recipes. As an allergy mama myself, I know first-hand the overwhelming experience of discovering and living daily with food allergies. Food fads have brought a lot of awareness (and haters) to the idea of being gluten-free, so while there are more and more options, there are also many out there who question the severity of your situation.

Celiac Mama helps ease your nerves with tips on how to eat out safely and how to send your child to school without fear of cross-contamination. Jereann has tips and handouts that can make life easier for everyone involved. Mistakes happen, so preparing yourself with tips, educating the school, and creating a line of open and consistent communication can help decrease these incidents.
