Hi! We just moved to the Battery area in Vinings & can't be more excited! I have a 4 yr degree in Psychology, and double minor in Human Relations/Minority Studies. I've found that although the Psychology field was challenging & intriguing, working with children is absolutely my true passion! I am First Aid/CPR certified & have many hours in infant/child Continuing Ed training . My first nanny family was with 3 babies. The twins were 3 months old and their big bro was 17 months. It was a handful but there was nothing better than seeing their sweet smiles every day! They had my heart from day one! Before that, I was a Head start teacher for Early Childhood (newborn-3) and Preschool (4-5). I loved watching each child blossom throughout the school year. They were always so proud! Currently I am a Mother's Helper for 6 wk twins! Such sweeties! I'm very comfortable with multiples/infants. Feel free to message me for resume and references. I look forward to hearing from you!

Mary cared for both of my boys and is an excellent caregiver! Her strengths are her kindness and compassion. She is great with teaching the kids hands on. One of the things she did that my kids loved was walks outdoors while learning, she would point out objects like trees, grass, water, swing set, colors. She is makes learning fun! Mary also understands special needs. One of my children has Aspergers Syndrome. She was able to help him learn so many things, socially she helped him thrive! It is not easy to get a child with Aspergers to connect, Mary was able to. Mary always followed every instruction or need we had happily. I love how structured Mary is. We were very lucky to have Mary in our lives! My kids are better people because of her!

I am a mature, thoughtful and responsible nanny who loves children. It is my pleasure that most children love me back! I enjoy observing and participating in activities devoted to children with children. I have experience working with children directly, for many years in different capacities. I have been a Camp Counselor, YWCO girl's camp reading teacher, Substitute Teacher for Walton County Public Schools and a Tutor. I have taught children in schools from Pre-K to the Middle School years, ages 3 to 14 and managed class sizes of 20 to 25. Additionally, I have experience with children who have disabilities. I have worked with children with behavior disorders, Autism and Attention Deficit (ADHD). However, the most important job I have ever had, has been motherhood. I have raised personally, my own two children (a girl and a boy), from infancy I am proud say, to become two stable and professional young adults contributing to our society. I have both nurtured and cared for infants and children of all ages. I would love to assist your family as your child's Nanny. It is from experience that I know how to smooth out the painful anguish of scraped knees, sibling rivalries, fights and hurt feelings. I also know what to do with colicky infants and toddlers who don't want to go to sleep because they are afraid that they are going to miss something! I am a very good cook and understand the foods children like. However, I am particular about children receiving the proper nutrition for their growing bodies. I like to read to children and I like children to read to me. I enjoy talking to and caring for children in general. I think learning can be fun and I offer children that. On a personal note, I am young at heart and I think that is one of the reasons, why I get along very well with children of all ages. I am an alum of The University of Georgia. Bachelors of Science, Family and Consumer Science. My major was Child and Family Development. I understand the needs and psychology of children. I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certified. Most recently, I have obtained a certificate for Newborn Care Specialist from The Newborn Care Training Academy, Washington, DC. I can nurture, care for and teach any child. It is natural for me.
