A pun-tastic name isn’t the only cool feature that Putting Edge in Norridge has to offer. Its 18-hole course is an immersive dive into a neon world of black lights and glow-in-the-dark scenes. Colorful sculptures resembling trees, animals, roads, and more will light up your game and give every member of your family plenty to take in.

Putting Edge is great for a quick outing — average playtime is 45 minutes to an hour — or a whole afternoon. Once you’ve hit all 18 holes, hop over to the complex’s interactive arcade. Parents can enjoy classics like Pop-A-Shot while the kids take in enough lights, screens, and sounds to keep them entertained for hours.

There’s no food service at Putting Edge, but a variety of snacks and soft drinks are available for purchase. Paid admission is required to access the golf course.

FTW Chicago (or “For The Win”) is a hidden gem in downtown Chicago. Located in the same building as an AMC movie theater and a Lucky Strike bowling alley, it’s easy to lose track of time in the midst of all the fun. Let FTW’s high-end arcade games draw you in, but keep heading farther into the venue and you’ll find its 6-hole, family-friendly mini golf course.

The course is distinctly Chicago-themed and filled with miniature replicas of the city’s landmarks — from the Chicago Theatre to Lake Shore Drive. It’s a quick course, but its filled with great photo opportunities and plenty of sights to keep the kids’ attention.

Once you’re done golfing, we bet you won’t be able to leave without playing a few of the 130 games stocked from wall to wall in the arcade. Mom and dad can even grab a deliciously complex cocktail from the steampunk-themed bar.

Arcade games, food, and beverages are an additional cost. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and are not allowed inside after 9 p.m.
