I have volunteered during college for several programs to help with the special needs. I taught middle school special needs children (CP, autistic, Down syndrome, learning disabled, SLD, behavior, hearing impaired.) I absolutely love working with special needs children. It is very rewarding and I absolutely love helping out special needs children and seeing improvement and being their friend. :)
