I have more than 15 years experience in private child care and day care settings. I have received clearance from the State of NJ, based on a background check and fingerprints, which allows me to work with children in public settings. I can provide excellent references. I have been a special education teacher for five years, and I love what I do. I have experience working with children with many types of disabilities, including high-functioning autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, Down syndrome and communication impairments. I am willing to care for a child with mild to moderate disabilities. For students with language based learning differences such as dyslexia, I am certified in the Wilson Reading System.
