I have grown up with ADD myself and in a family known for having ADD/ADHD so I understand the patience and small tricks to understand others with the same problems. I have also had 2 cousins with autism and have a husband who is himself OCD and shows very mild signs of autism and has a brother severely autistic. I know I am not trained in any of the fields but as I grew up I was sent to specialists and took the drugs like Ritalin and found that if I was around other older people who had the same problem they could guide me and give me advice when no-one else could fully understand what I was asking.
