Hello! I am currently working as a classroom aide in a local high school. I help create a positive learning environment with the other aides and teachers and assist the students in their daily needs. I've also been an after school caregiver for two years with the same kiddos, one of whom struggles with anxiety and ADD. (They're going to outgrow me sooner than later, and then I'll probably cry a little and try to find another family.) When it comes to after school care, I help with homework and make sure the kids pick up after themselves and take the dog out. I'm a good communicator and often send photos to Mom/Dad of what their kids are up to. Occasionally we have to go out for ice cream or a slushy, because well, some days just need a frozen dessert.
