I am currently a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology and specializing in health and children. I have worked with a variety of children, including children with ODD, ASD, and ADHD. I have tutored ages PreK-8th gr., taught Spanish as a lead teacher, implemented behavior modification techniques, among other services. My expertise is in children as I am fun and love to develop hands on learning. I am trained in PCIT, an evidence based interactive approach for children with ADHD, and this helps provide the child with a nurturing and judgement free environment conducive to learning. I participated in an intensive internship this past summer in which I worked with young children with ADHD diagnoses. It provided me with the skills needed to understand and approach issues regarding this disorder. I have also been a Gymboree lead play and learn teacher for ages 6 mo-4 yrs old, and have experience leading a classroom.
