I have gained a varied background that contributes to my strengths as a caregiver. In the past three years, I have worked in two Veterinary hospitals, and experience which has familiarized me with many human-grade medications for a variety of conditions - from seizure disorders to thyroid disease. Due to this experience, I am also trained to administer insulin and any other injections. I have a family member with a seizure disorder and have been employed at a day camp as a one-on-one camp counselor for a young lady who suffered from Epilepsy and Diabetes, as well as a learning disorder. I see all of these situations as opportunities to become more capable!
